Paper Models as Learning Support Tools ~Colourful Fruits~
This work won the SDGs Prize in the 32nd Kamiwaza Grand Prize Competition. The following outlines the concept of the work.
Paper models are a useful tool for addressing SDG 4, “Quality Education.” Paper models designed with shapes, dimensions, and patterns based on real objects help learners understand the characteristics of fruits in three dimensions and deepen their knowledge through the process of assembly.
In addition, the template files and 3D model data can be published online, allowing educational resources to be shared widely. This provides a means of delivering quality education to a broad audience beyond geographical constraints.
