These works are created by assembling template sheets featuring realistic painted designs. The works are based on the theme of antique books.
I incorporated ornamental patterns inspired by Hans Holbein the Younger, one of the great portrait painters of the 16th century, into the cover designs. To further emphasize the theme, I added details such as dust, sand, peeling marks, scratches, and fading to evoke the passage of time.
